How do I set up a group?
 
Setting up a group is easy and can be achieved in four easy steps.  Creating a group takes a matter of minutes and can be used immediately (great for that last minute campaign).  Once created, mobile numbers can be manually added and members can immediately begin joining your group by text.
 

 
Group types?
 

When creating a group you have three types of groups to choose from.  Group type will depend on how you wish to use your group.

Public

Anyone can join a public group from their mobile by simply texting '[GroupName] join' to 5522.

This is the perfect group type for a retail store, VIP club etc.

Private

Only those that know the group password can join a private group from their mobile.  To join a private group a person will need to text '[GroupName] [Password] join' to 5522.

The is the perfect group type for a sports team or group that you only want specified people to join.

Corporate

People can not join a corporate group from their mobile and functionality is limited to pushing messages out only.  Members must be manually entered or uploaded by a group administrator. 

This group type is perfect if you want complete control over your membership base and do not require the advanced features of GrpTXT i.e. a marketing campaign using a pre-existing database of members.
